The Lord Thurlow Hall in the village of Great Ashfield is a charming village hall in the traditional style.  Situated on School Road in the heart of the village, it is run by a committee of local resident volunteers.

• The Hall is the focus of regular village events such as the annual BBQ in July and the Halloween Pumpkin Night with Fish & Chip supper in October.

Pub Nights are held on the first Friday of the month throughout the year, except January, August and November, where everyone is welcome to come to socialise with your neighbours and enjoy a drink with friends.

The Great Ashfield & Badwell Ash WI meet on the second Thursday of the month (see their page on this website) and there are weekly Yoga classes with Serenity Yoga offering a warm welcome for all.

The Hall Committee run a 'VILLAGE HALL DRAW' whereby all village residents are invited to pay a small annual subscription to enter into the draw to win cash prizes every month, all proceeds from the draw go towards the upkeep of the Hall as a community asset.

The Hall is available to hire at very reasonable rates and is the perfect venue for family celebrations, children's parties, meetings, social clubs, fitness & exercise classes.  Facilities include recently upgraded toilets and a new modern stainless steel kitchen.
